Practice Lower blood pressure!

Can you with an investment of just two hours a week “walk off” your high blood pressure? Read this exciting new study’s results… HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. If you don’t have your numbers at or below 140/90, you have it. What are you going to get with it? A massively increased risk of stroke-the #1 cause of this disabled condition is high blood pressure-and heart disease. The good news is that many studies have shown that a combination of exercise, reduction of stress and a change in dietary habits can reduce that pressure as well as better than those medicines.

Did you have 2 hours a week?
That’s everything it took. The researchers began with 27 overweight, out – of-shape men with mild hypertension, weaned them away from any blood-pressure medicines they were taking and broke them into two groups. One group did the actual exercise: a half hour of “fast walking,” four times a week jogging and/or stationary cycling at 65 to 80% of their maximum heart rate.

And what about the results?
You could see a significant difference between the two groups at the end of 6 weeks. The men doing the actual exercise had lowered by an average of more than 6 points their diastolic reading (the bottom one). It was down nearly 10 points at the end of 10 weeks; from an average of 94.8 to an average of 85.2. Those who have done the fake workout have seen their diastolic reading go up: from 93.7 to 94.4.
